Many players, myself included, have a lot of nostalgia for the RollerCoaster Tycoon series, and developers have tried to recapture the magic of those games over the years. Now, PS4 and PS VR are getting a new amusement park management game--but it might not be exactly what RollerCoaster Tycoon fans had in mind.
Rollercoaster Dreams is a game from developer Bimboosoft, which has previously made titles like Dream Match Tennis and Line Space Wars. This is the company's first foray into VR, and Bimboosoft released a trailer today showing off some of the game's features. It's bizarre, to say the least. You can watch it below.
Online retailer Amazon has listed Destiny: The Collection for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, suggesting a re-release of Bungie's sci-fi shooter may be on the way.
The listing was spotted by Twitter user Lifelower, who took a picture of it before Amazon pulled it down. The game was listed for an August 18 release, which would place it about a month ahead the Rise of Iron expansion's release.
With Battleborn's second free DLC character making his debut today for some players, Gearbox has already revealed its next character, Ernest. Ernest is described as being a "defensive mastermind with a strong devotion to protecting his allies." Based on the lone piece of concept art released so far, he looks to be a chubby, headband-wearing bird creature who wields a grenade launcher.
Having revealed it earlier this week, Ubisoft has now provided new information regarding Rainbow Six Siege's upcoming Operation Skull Rain expansion. This begins with Favela, the new map coming to all players for free as part of the update. We get a quick look at this new locale in the new video above. As part of the original announcement, Ubisoft claimed it's the most destructible map released yet, which we now know is because it adds "exterior shell destruction."

Respawn Entertainment has revealed a new video series for Titanfall 2 called "Inside Development." As producer Drew McCoy explains in the introduction video below, this will be a series where developers speak directly to fans about the design decisions they made and the reasoning for them.
2K today released a new trailer for crime game Mafia III, spotlighting main character Lincoln Clan's story. This trailer, titled "The Soldier," is the first in a series of videos that will focus on an important character.
As you'll see in the video, Clay grew up as an orphan and was raised streets of New Bordeaux, which is Mafia III's take on New Orleans. He became an outlaw when he fell in with the black mob and eventually took off for the Vietnam War. When he returns, he discovers the Italian mob--led by gangster Sal Marcano--has wiped out Clay's friends and associates. Naturally, he wants revenge, and taking the Italian mob down in 1968 is at the heart of the story.
We've heard a fair bit about Telltale's new Batman game, but it wasn't until now that we got a proper trailer for the new episodic series. Batman: The Telltale Series sees you control both Bruce Wayne and Batman, and we get a taste of each side of that dynamic in the new video. Many of the characters in the game--Alfred Pennyworth, Harvey Dent, Vicki Vale, Jim Gordon, Carmine Falcone--also show up, and there's a quick glimpse of Catwoman.
Sony has confirmed the Gravity Rush 2 release date as September 2 in North America, November 30 in Europe, and December 2 in UK. In a post on the PlayStation Blog, Sony revealed that those who pre-order the PS4 game from select retailers will receive an alternate white DLC costume for protagonist Kat.
Following the release of GTA Online's Cunning Stunts update last week, Rockstar today added more stunt races and cars to the crazy-looking mode. The new races are for all kinds of vehicles, from bikes to muscle cars. In keeping with the Cunning Stunts theme, they are completely over-the-top, challenging players to race through things like flaming rings and fireworks.

More Battlefield DLC is now available for free as part of EA's "Road to Battlefield 1" campaign. The latest offering is Battlefield 4's Naval Strike add-on.
It normally sells for $15, but you can now get it completely free on Xbox One and Xbox 360. If history is any indication, it will become free on PlayStation systems and PC sometime later today.
Hitman developer IO Interactive has released details on its Summer Bonus Episode, which is available today to players that own the Full Experience or the combination of Intro Pack and Upgrade pack at no additional cost. For those that don't own these, however, it will become available to purchase separately "later in the season, packaged together with a third bonus mission for one price."
The Summer Bonus Episode features two ICA missions which follow Agent 47 on his first trips to Sapienza and Marrakesh, which were both part of previous DLCs for the game.

Atlus is teasing fans once again with an impending Persona 5 announcement slated for next week. More specifically, Atlus appears to have seven different reveals planned. The RPG's Japanese website has been updated with a series of countdown timers, something Atlus seems to be a big fan of, ending around the same time on July 19.
Right on schedule, the 2002 original Splinter Cell game is now free on PC as part of Ubisoft's 30th anniversary celebration.
All you have to do to claim your game is head over to the Ubi 30 page and click "Get the Game Now." You'll need to sign into Uplay to add the game to your library. Splinter Cell, like Prince of Persia: Sands of Time before it, will be available for free for 30 days; after you've download it, it's yours forever.
Microsoft will not host a briefing at Gamescom this year, the company announced today. Instead, the Xbox company will focus on a "new and more intimate Xbox FanFest experience for our fans." More details will be announced soon.This is a big change, as Microsoft's Gamescom 2015 briefing was packed with news. This news was revealed by marketing executive Aaron Greenberg in an Xbox Wire post, but he did not provide any information on why Microsoft is skipping a briefing this year.
HBO has released a new video in which actor Samuel L. Jackson recaps the events of its hit show, Game of Thrones. If you're in need of a refresher, this is pretty good. But be warned that the Die Hard and Star Wars actor uses some colorful language to describe what's going on.

Even though the Harry Potter series technically ended several years ago, the magical universe continues to expand with spinoff plays, books, and movies. Creator JK Rowling has also kept the stories alive with updates about her characters, including the latest revelation about exactly why the Dursleys hate their nephew Harry so much.
During his keynote address at the Develop Conference today, Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima said he is positive his new PlayStation 4 and PC game, Death Stranding, will be the best title he's ever made. Speaking on stage alongside PS4 system architect Mark Cenry, Kojima said he is "very confident this will be my best work,".
Microsoft and Loot Crate have revealed the Gears of War 4: Loot Crate Edition. There are two options available. The $130 version includes a digital copy of Gears of War 4, as well as a number of physical goodies such as a replica "7 Lancer and "awesome COG-sanctioned swag." A $75 version comes with a 4.5" Lancer, but no game.
As with other Loot Crates, these are mysterious in nature. Delivered on a monthly basis, the crates come with a number of "exclusive" collectibles, as well as apparel and more. You don't know exactly what you're getting, and for some, that's the appeal.

Batman: Return to Arkham, a compilation pack that features remastered versions of Batman: Arkham Asylum and Arkham City for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, will launch in November at the earliest. This is according to multiple sources speaking to Eurogamer. Return to Arkham was supposed to launch on July 26, but at the end of June, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment confirmed the game was indefinitely delayed.
Universal's classic monster movie franchise kicks off next year with The Mummy, which is currently shooting in London. We've already seen images of star Tom Cruise on set, and now pictures of Sofia Boutella, playing the bandaged creature of the title, have emerged. Check them out below.
